The goddess, dressing in Attican pallium and helmet, stands on the whole of her right foot and the toes of her left. Her left hand is gracefully resting on her waist, while in her right she holds a spear, the tip of which she is pointing at a tablet. She seems to be looking at this tablet, judging from the fact that her head is turned to the right and slightly downwards. This tablet is sometimes interpreted as the signpost to her temple, or a catalogue of financial records. It dates from around 460 b.C. Acropolis Museum.
